Nov. 7, 2009_ Waban and Boston, MA

It is day two of our big road trip and today we had a lovely breakfast courtesy of Clare. After breakfast we put the carseat base into Michael's car and the five of us, Clare, Michael, Nick, Frankie, and I drove into Boston. This is F's first time in Beantown so we took her to a very exciting place... my old haunt, the North End. I put F in the Kelty Kids backpack carrier and joined the tourists on the Freedom trail to the Old North Church.

Then we paid a visit to the North Benton Street School where we saw some pretty amazing craftsmanship by the students there...I really want to learn how to make some cabinets now.

Lunch was up next, Michael chose L'Osteria restaurant where I had spaghetti and meatballs. At one point during lunch Clare exclaimed: "Don't lose that meatball!" Frankie had milk courtesy of yours truly.

Finally, we made it over to Hanover street for cannoli and a latte for dessert. Why not Modern or Mike's Pastry you ask? Damn Tourists! Too many of them on this gorgeous fall day. La Victorria was excellent and absent of all of the touristas.

  1. We miss you already and hope you arrived safely in NY.

You'll be glad to know we ate the meatball tonight!

Take care and give F a kiss for me.
